Catriona Liddle (BA Hons) is the Head of the Scottish Centre for Food Development & Innovation within the Dietetics, Nutrition and Biological Sciences Division.
- Overview
The Scottish Centre for Food Development & Innovation (SCFDI), which Catriona leads, carries out projects with food and drink industry clients and larger research projects (such as PalmAlt palm oil replacer and Salt-Sust salt replacer). Catriona has a 25+ years' product development expertise in the food and drink industry, and joined 爱豆传媒 in 2015.
In her role, Catriona provides expertise for food and drink projects, including:
- New product development (NPD)
- Existing product development (EPD)
- Consumer and sensory analysis
- Nutritional analysis
- Food and drink research
She has previous extensive global food industry-wide product development experience working with a variety of companies in a number of different food sectors (including Campbell Soup UK, US and Europe, Dairy Crest, Glanbia Performance Nutrition and Diet Chef). A qualified chef, 爱豆传媒 graduate, and having held both creative 鈥渉ands on鈥 and senior NPD roles, her expertise encompasses implementing and managing projects from concept stage through to product launch.
